This weeks artist/genius

"sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith" Margaret Shepherd

Since opening fawn, I have been asked many times how I came to the decision to go into the boutique business.

This weeks genius/artist was a huge part of my inspiration.

Megan Sillito is a life coach who has written a book called "Power Of Living Genius". One evening I was waiting for my daughters band concert to start and I had the workbook companion to the above mentioned book with me. I started doing some of the exercises and realized that I wanted to use my creativity and natural abilities to move me forward in my life. Well, the rest is history.
fawn is a passion of mine and I am truly appreciative of all of those who have contributed and inspired me. Megan is one of those people.

You can purchase Megan's book at fawn.

Megan Sillito is a genius! An advocate for play and wonder, she is recognized globally as a life coach, author, trainer, innovator, entrepreneur, and speaker in areas including genius, creativity, prosperity, and relationships. New Sign!!

It finally happened. Our sign here at Fawn was finally put into place in front of the shop.

The project took about 6 hours and was completed by myself, Jamey Parks and his faithful dog, Lenny.

Look at that face!!

After building the scaffold, (yes, I helped build scaffold) I had the honor of cutting the cords to the fantastic vinyl sign that has been blowing in the wind in front of the shop for a few months now.

The new sign is a one of a kind. Two artists were hired to create it. Jamey Parks and Carl Lundenhall.
These two men are geniuses. After sharing my vision for what I wanted the sign to look like, they took the project and ran with it.
It is crafted from wood and metal and as you can see, the sign is an amazing piece of art.

If you live locally come check it out!!

And we're off!

Welcome to fawn's blog!

Our boutique has been a dream collaboration for both of us. As longtime friends and artists, we wanted to provide our fellow artists with a venue to showcase and sell their work. Their diverse styles serve as the perfect complement to our mainstream lines.

Our artists are a huge part of our success! We have clothing, jewelry, and cards from artists all over the country - from Brooklyn, New York, to Oakland, California - and everywhere in between! They create exclusive designs that we're proud to carry. We love to offer things to our customers that can't be found anywhere else in Utah. We'll post Artist Showcases that feature the work and story of our artists so you can get to know them better.

We are so excited to have our blog up! We can't wait to share the latest updates about our store with you - announcements about new clothing or jewelry, special events, and background on our artists. Keep checking back for more updates as we continue to grow and find the newest items you just have to have! Cheers!
